You can make a difference! IT'S EASY! You
can now very easily be a truly positive part of the effort to establish
our holiday by doing the following:
1. Contact the executive committee of the NCAI ( National Congress of American Indians) and ask them to our effort to establish a real holiday for our people. You can easily email each one of them by clicking here. Or, better yet, go to the same page and get their phone numbers. Call each one of them and tell them we want a real holiday for our people. Ask them to pass a resolution for the NCAI to partner with CFAIR efforts to establish the holiday. Explain that, if the NCAI will do that, U. S. Representative Dan Boren of Oklahoma will sponsor legislation.
Send your email to every email address on the page. You can copy the body of your first email and paste it in the body for each of the rest of them. Be sure to fill in the subject line.
Get all of your friends to do the same thing. Let's let the NCAI know that we want the holiday and we want their help in getting it.
